Trust Status (System Reports Beneficiary Fund MI)

The facility to extract a report of the Trust Status for a specified period per deceased member.

 

From the Beneficiary Fund menu, click  alongside New under Trust Status on the sub-menu on the left.  Additional options will be displayed.

 

 

New

Click New below Trust Status.  The Trust Status screen will be displayed.

 

 

Capture the relevant details as follows:

 

From Date

The start date of the period.  Leaving both the From Date and To Date fields blank will display the entire period.

To Date

The end date of the period.  The completion of this field is optional.  Leaving both the From Date and To Date fields blank will display the entire period.

Scheme Code

Capture the specific scheme code. 

The completion of this field is mandatory.

Reference Number

Capture the trust number for a specific member, or leave blank to display all members that fit the criteria specified. 

Email

The email address to which the extract must be sent.  The completion of this field is mandatory.

 

 

 

Click GENERATE REPORT.

 

The system will retrieve the Business Transactions (BT’s) in the BENINVCONTRL account with a Transaction Date less than or equal to the To Date and greater than or equal to the From Date. 

If no To Date is captured, the system will retrieve the BT’s with a Transaction Date greater than or equal to the From Date.

If no From Date is captured, the system will extract the BT’s with a Transaction Date less than or equal to the To Date.

If no Dates are captured, the system will retrieve all of the BT’s.

 

If a Membership Number is captured, the system will check that the Membership Status is DECEASED.

If a valid Membership Number is captured, the BT’s for the Member captured will be retrieved.

For each Deceased Membership for which a MAINMEMINV BT is found, the system will retrieve the MEMCONTRIB BT’s in the BENINVCONTRL account for the Memberships with a Status of BENEFICIARY linked to the deceased member and sum the BT’s per deceased member.

 

The following information will be extracted for each deceased member:

-  Member Reference Number

-  First Name

-  Surname

-  Date of Death

-  Death Benefit Amount (MAINMEMINV amount)

-  Date Benefit Transferred (MAINMEMINV Transaction Date)

-  Amount Paid (Sum of MEMCONTRIB BT amounts).  Refer to Retrieving amount paid below

-  Balance (Death Benefit amount less Amount Paid plus Interest)

-  Status (Payment Status)

-  Comment (Non-Payment Reason)

 

Retrieving amount paid

When retrieving the transactions for the Amount Paid value:

 

The system will read the Accounting Activity Association with a Type of BENEFICIARY PMT and retrieve the BT’s in the Member’s INVESTMEMB account with the Accounting Activities linked on the Accounting Activity Association. 

 

The system will read the Accounting Activity Association with a Type of BENEFICIARY INT and retrieve the BT’s in the Member’s INVESTMEMB account with the Accounting Activities linked on the Accounting Activity Association.

Click View below Trust Status.  The Report Selection screen will be displayed.
