Transactions and Associated Actions

Purpose

This procedure allows for the registration of transactions or actions for inclusion in the various templates.

The actions are always associated with a specific transaction, but not all transactions will have the same actions.

The key of a transaction will be the transaction code that is associated with the function, e.g. CSJU1CG. This relates directly to a program within the system.

Accessing the transactions and actions

From the main menu on top, select Access, then from the sub-menu on the left select Transaction Action.

Additional options will be displayed.

Select Maintain.

The EA815 Transaction Action Maintain screen will be displayed.

Field notes:

LINK button	Links to the EA826 Transaction List screen.
Action	These are the actions associated with the transaction (e.g. HADQ)
Action Code	This is an action that allows for the flowing to a transaction that has been linked to the selected transaction (e.g. HADQ).

Adding a transaction and its associated actions

On the EA815 Transaction Action Maintain screen, select a transaction code.

The Key Change Confirmation screen will be displayed.

Click OK. Highlight -NEW-, then click INSERT.

The E815 Maintain Action Code screen will be displayed.

Descriptions of the input fields appear below:

Action Code	The code associated with a function, e.g. A.
Description	A description of the action, e.g. Add Product.
