This activity enables a super user to maintain the parameters that pertain to various territories.
From the System Data menu on the top, select Parameters on the sub-menu on the left, then select Territory Parameters from the list of menu options below it.
The JU1EU Territory Parameter Maintain screen will be displayed.
To select a value for the Territory Type, click LIST. The JU0AC Permitted Value List screen will be displayed.
Click on a Territory and click SELECT. The JU1EU Territory Parameter Maintain screen will be displayed with the details for the Territory Type selected.
To add a new territory parameter, select a territory type from the drop-down box, then click NEW. The JU1EU New Territory Parameter Maintain screen will be displayed.

Type |
The type of parameter being added. Note: The parameter selected will determine the display of additional fields on this screen.
Examples of values are: - Base currency - GMP Age - Increase - Linked Increase - Living Annuity Max - Med Aid Member - Multiple Partial Withdrawals - State Pension Age - Tax Age - etc. |

Global Type |
Click LIST to flow to the JU1AE Global Type List screen to select a value from the Global Type List. |

The date from which the Type is effective |

Age |
The age for the Type selected (where applicable).
This is the age above which the medical aid deduction is tax free, or the State Pension Age applicable. |

The percentage for the Type selected (where applicable). |

Amount |
The amount for the Type selected (where applicable). |
|
Month (MM) |
The tax year end (month) applicable to the selected territory. Select a value from the drop-down list. |
Click OK.
