Projection Statements (Insurance Products 0505)

This functionality is used to define the contents of Benefit Statements or Projection Statements for the member.  The system will determine which text must be included in a projection statement.

 

The text and values to be included in a Benefit Statement or Projection Statement are defined by creating a document template with the text defined and the selecting of data tags.

 

The data tags represent a list of Field Tag values which have specific programming attached to determine the value to be included in the document. 

The Benefit Products set up in the Benefit Rules are available for selection as a data tag for inclusion in the Benefit Statement or Projection Statement.

 

When CALCULATE is selected on the Benefit Projection screen, the system will read the Document Template with a PDF Process Type of PROJECTION and linked to the Member’s applicable Membership Group (Template Default Association), or if not found, linked to the Scheme. 

 

The system will read each of the Field Tags and retrieve or calculate the relevant data and populate the template.

 

The Inclusion Condition will be read for each Template Element. 

-   If the value is ALWAYS, then the Template Element (paragraph/image/table) will be included.

-   If the value is VALUE, then if a value is retrieved or calculated for any of the Field Tags contained in the Template Element, the Template Element will be included.

-   If the value is CRITERIA, then the criteria selected will be read and if the Member’s data matches the criteria as per the table below, the Template Element will be include:

 

MEMBER CATEGORY

Include if the Member is linked to the Membership Group selected

INCOME TYPES

Include if the Member has investment balances for the Income Types selected.  

DATE OF JOINING

Include if the Member’s date of joining the Scheme falls within the dates selected.

MEMBERSHIP STATUS

Include if the Member’s Membership Status is equal to the Status selected.

SERVICE TYPES

Include if the Member has a Service record equal to the Service Type selected.

PORTFOLIO

Include if the Member has investment balances for the Portfolio selected.
