This facility is for the processing of service requests for capturing a Last Contact Proof of Existence date and method.
When you select from the main functionality menu, the JU7AB Work Management List screen will be displayed.
This screen displays a list of the service requests allocated to you.

Activity name: Initiate Communication
If the Process Name is LAST CONTACT COMMUNICATION the Activity Name is INITIATE COMMUNICATION, and Service Request > Process is selected from the sub-menu on the left, the Last Contact Run screen will be displayed.
The Scheme Code is the same as selected on the New Service Request page, and the Effective Date is the next month end after the last run date on the Batch Control record.
When SUBMIT is selected, the Activity Name on the Service Request will be updated to VIEW COMMUNICATION REPORT and batch job will be automatically scheduled.
When the Batch job runs it finds all the Memberships with a Status of BENEFICIARY for the selected Scheme and finds the value of the Period Start Date with a Subtype Detail of POE METHOD on the Member Values record to which the Membership is linked, for each Membership.
If the value for Period Start Date (Last Contact POE Date) on the latest record is earlier than the Batch Run Effective Date less the value for the POE PERIOD Parameter, create a SMS message for the Beneficiary and include in the Last Contact Communication report.
Activity name: View Communication Report
If the Process Name is LAST CONTACT COMMUNICATION the Activity Name is VIEW COMMUNICATION REPORT, and Service Request > Process is selected from the sub-menu on the left, the Last Contact Communication Report screen will be displayed.
