This facility allows the processing of service requests for the beneficiary investment process.
When you select my work from the main functionality menu, the JU7AB Work Management List screen will be displayed.
This screen displays a list of the service requests allocated to you.

Service Requests
The service request is either created automatically by the system or the service request is created manually by the user (Service Request > Create).
Automated creation of service request
In the Benefit Payments Process, when a lump sum death claim is processed, the Benefit Payable Update Type is processed on the JU4CN Benefit Payment Process screen. If the scheme being processed is linked to a Trust Fund with a Type of Fund of BENEFICIARY FUND, the system creates a service request in My Work with a Process of BENEFICIARY INV, an Activity Name of BENEFICIARIES and with the Scheme Code and Membership Number of the Beneficiary Fund Membership created and a Status of OPEN.
A membership record is also created in the linked Trust Fund with the following details:

The membership reference number of the membership for which the Benefit Payment is being processed. i.e. The same membership reference number is used for the Trust Fund. |
Start Date |
The first day of the month following the current month. |
Membership Status |
DECEASED |
The service request will be displayed on the JU7AB Work Management List screen with a Process Name of BENEFICIARY INV and an Activity Name of either ADD BENEFICIARY or BENEFICIARIES.
Manual creation of service request
Select Service Request from the sub-menu on the left. When the drop-down list is displayed, select Create.
The JU7AB Create/Update New Service Request screen will be displayed.

Click OK once the necessary details have been captured.
Once the service request has been allocated to a user, the service request will be displayed on the JU7AB Work Management List screen with a Process Name of BENEFICIARY INV and an Activity Name of either ADD BENEFICIARY.

If the Process Name is BENEFICIARY INV and the Activity Name is ADD BENEFICIARY, and Service Request > Process is selected from the sub-menu on the left, .the JU2EN Payment Request Details screen will be displayed.

Payment Request
Activity name: Beneficiaries
If the Process name is BENEFICIARY INV and the Activity Name is BENEFICIARIES, and Service Request > Process is selected from the sub-menu on the left, .the JU3MM Total Investment Details screen will be displayed.
When all of the Pre-authorised BT’s have been created, the Activity Name on the My Work Service Request will be updated to AUTH ALLOCATIONS.

If the Process name is BENEFICIARY INV and the Activity Name is AUTH ALLOCATIONS, and Service Request > Process is selected from the sub-menu on the left, .the JU3MM Total Investment Details screen will be displayed.
When the Pre-authorised BT’s have been created successfully, the Activity Name will be updated on the applicable My Work Service Request to AUTH ADD ALLOCS.
When the Pre-authorised BT’s have been created successfully, the Activity Name on the My Work Service Request will be updated to AUTH ALLOC ADJS.
When AUTHORISE is selected on the JU3MM Total Investment Details screen and the BT’s are successfully authorised, the Status on the Service Request will be updated to COMPLETED.

Activity name: Auth Add Allocations
If the Process name is BENEFICIARY INV and the Activity Name is AUTH ADD ALLOCATIONS, and Service Request > Process is selected from the sub-menu on the left, .the JU3MM Total Investment Details screen will be displayed.
When AUTHORISE is selected on the JU3MM Total Investment Details screen and the BT’s are successfully authorised, the Status on the Service Request will be updated to COMPLETED.

If the Process name is BENEFICIARY PMT and the Activity Name is INITIATE, and Service Request > Process is selected from the sub-menu on the left, .the JU3EN Payment Request screen will be displayed.
When the Submit button is selected and the pre-authorised BT’s have been created successfully, the Activity Name on the My Work Service Request will be updated to AUTHORISE PMT.

Activity name: Authorise Pmt
If the Process name is BENEFICIARY PMT and the Activity Name is AUTHORISE PMT, and Service Request > Process is selected from the sub-menu on the left, the JU3EN Payment Request Details screen will be displayed with the details of the pre-authorised BT for the Membership captured.
When the BT’s have been created successfully the Status on the Service Request will be updated to COMPLETED.
