This report is used to monitor the receipt of pre-screening documents received and for the payment to the laboratory for blood tests performed by them.
The option is provided to select a Document Type so a report of BLOOD TESTS received can be extracted by selecting a Document Type of BLOOD TEST or a report of any other or all pre-screening documents received can be extracted.
From the Underwriting menu, click alongside Pre-Screening Documents Received. Additional options will be displayed.
To create a new Pre-Screening Documents Received report, select New from the sub-menu on the left. The Pre-Screening Documents Received screen will be displayed.
Capture data as follows:
From Date |
The start date of the reporting period.
If no date is captured, the system will use the earliest date. |
To Date |
The date up to which reporting must take place.
If no date is captured, the system will default to the current date. |
Document Type |
Select a Document Type from the drop-down list for the UDPV Object DOCUMENT TYPE with a Document Category of UNDERWRITING. The following Document Types may be selected: NONE ADMIN DOCUMENT ASSESSMENT BLOOD TESTS CLAIM COMM CLAIM FORM MEDICAL DOCMNT
The selection of a Document Type is optional. If no Document Type is selected, all Types will be displayed in the report. |

The e-mail address of the person who must be notified that the report is available. |
Click GENERATE REPORT.
A message will indicate once the job has been successfully submitted, and an e-mail will be sent to the designated person.
The system will find the documents with a Document Type equal to the Document Type selected and extract the following information for each record found:
- Membership Reference Number
- Surname
- Initials
- Document Type
The report will be created with the information above and the following information in the heading:
- Report Name
- Scheme Code and Name
- From Date
- To Date
- Document Type (If Document Type Selected)
Click View below Pre-Screening Documents Received. The Report Selection screen will be displayed.
The following columns are displayed:
- Scheme Code
- Timestamp
- Date Captured
- Report Type
- Sequence Number
- Action
To view details, click on the hyperlinked display in the Action column. The Report Selection screen will be displayed.

- Member Reference Number
- Surname
- Initials
- Document Type
