This facility allows the business to maintain details of the events associated with benefit payments to product members.
From the System Data menu on the top, select Benefits Maintenance from the sub-menu on the left.
The BIAB Benefit Event List screen will be displayed.
The following options are available:

Flows to the Benefit Event Maintain dialog box to record details of the events associated with benefit payments. |

MODIFY |
Flows to the Benefit Event Maintain dialog box to enable non-key detail to be updated. |
From the BIAB Benefit Event List screen, click NEW. The BIAB Benefit Event Maintain screen will be displayed.

The specific category of event for which a benefit is payable. Current values are: - Benefit Statement - Unclaimed - Bulk Transfer - Non Payment Exit - Non Exit Payment - Ad Hoc Payment - Standard Tax - Family Benefits - Other - Partial Withdrawal - Death - Transfer - Disability - Withdrawal - Retiral - Annuity |

Category Subtype |
The specific category subtype for which a benefit is payable. Current values are: - Divorce - Post Retirement - Realise Scale - Ill-Health - Spouse & Child - Family Benefit - Normal - Late - Early
Note: Each Event Category could have a sub type linked to it to define the ages from or to which a member will be entitled to that benefit event.
Example: Event Category = Retiral Event Category Subtype = Early
Note: If a member is eligible for a benefit at all ages then no sub-type will be linked to the benefit event. |
