Once a template has been created and it has been linked to a scheme, the template must be linked to template elements.
From the JU1FI PDF Template List screen, highlight a template and select Link to Template Element from the sub-menu on the left.
The JU1FK PDF Template/Element Association screen will be displayed.
Highlight an element in the Potential Elements column and click INSERT to move it to the Selected Elements column. The JU1FK Template/Element Association Maintain screen will be displayed.
Capture data as follows:
Order No |
A number defining the specific order in which the selected element must be displayed in the document. This is necessary as multiple elements may be selected for the same template, and the order of their display must be known. |
Start Date |
The system will default the Start Date field to today’s date. If this is not the correct date, then it can be changed. |
Click OK. The JU1FK Template/Element Association screen will be displayed with the selected element displayed in the Selected Schemes column.
To remove an element from the Selected Elements column, highlight the element and click REMOVE. The JU1FK Template/Element Association Maintain screen will be displayed.
Capture a date in the End Date field and click SUBMIT. The JU1FK Template/Element Association screen will be displayed with the removed element displayed in the Potential Elements column.
To change the order number for an element selected for a template, highlight the element in the Potential Elements column and click EDIT. The JU1FK Template/Element Association Maintain screen will be displayed.
Capture the number in the Order No field and click SUBMIT. The JU1FK PDF Template/Element Association screen will be displayed with the order number changed.
When all elements have been selected, select Close PDF Template Element Assoc from the sub-menu on the left to close the screen
Before the template can be used or linked into a scheme, the template must be authorized.
From the JU1FI Template List screen, highlight a template that has not yet been authorized and click OPEN. The JU1FI Maintain Template screen will be displayed.
Click AUTHORISE. The JU1FI Template List screen will be displayed with the user ID of the authorizer in the Authoriser column.
