All South African ID Numbers are validated using the Home Affairs link.
The JU3SR_HOME_AFFAIRS_VERIFY batch job is scheduled to run daily.
When the batch job runs, the system extracts all Identity Numbers for all Natural Persons where the Identity Type is SA ID and the value for ID Number Confirmed is not HOME AFFAIRS, and creates a file for submission to Home Affairs.

Processing the Home Affairs File
From the Audit menu, select Home Affairs Verify from the sub-menu on the left.
Additional options will be displayed.
Click New below Home Affairs Verify. The Home Affairs Verify screen will be displayed.
Capture your email address and click GENERATE REPORT.
A message will indicate once the job has been successfully submitted (and an e-mail will be sent to you, if you requested to be notified).

Click View below Home Affairs Verify. The Report Selection screen will be displayed.
This screen displays a list of the extracts created.
The following columns are displayed:
- Scheme Code
- Timestamp
- Date Captured
- Report Type
- Sequence Number
- Action
To select a report, click on the hyperlinked display in the Action column alongside the appropriate selection.
The Report Selection screen will be displayed.
