Choosing the non-zip option of the INpPatcher has no way of checking whether there are any files to be updated. This option requires a manual step to inform the patcher that it must run. This is easily done by executing the INpensions Patch Enabler from (Start, Programs, Bytes Software, AutoPatch) or from the folder
\Program Files\Bytes Software\Tools\Autopatch
and executing
INpPatchEnabler.exe
You will be prompted whether you wish to ENABLE or DISABLE the patcher at the next run. Using this facility allows you to deploy a number of files over a number of days and then only allowing the system to run the actual update once this option is enabled.

This option is not available for web or complete ZIP folder options.
