Default Preservation Process

The following Service Requests are used as part of the Default Preservation Process:

-  Paid Up Certificates SR

-  Deferred SR

 

These processes are to cater for members that become paid up in the fund due to no withdrawal/preservation instruction.

 

Members that elected to stay in the fund will be dealt with in the Deferred process.

 

Prior claims should be settled as per existing Partial Withdrawal process prior to finalizing the Deferred process for members who elected to stay in the fund.

 

The Service Requests are triggered by a monthly batch job (JU3RT).  This batch job has a batch parameter (BJU3RT_RUNDAY) that determines the day on which the job must run.
