Claims Assessed (Disability)

This report displays the number of disability claims received, admitted, repudiated and declined per Month for the period defined.

 

From the Disability section of the Exits menu, click  alongside Claims Assessed.  Additional options will be displayed.

 

 

Note:

Refer to the Claims Assessment Extract below to extract the details for the disability claims assessed.

 

New

To create a new report of disability claims assessed, select New from the sub-menu on the left.  The Disability Claims Assessed screen will be displayed.

 

 

Capture data as follows:

 

From Date

The start date of the reporting period.

 

If no date is captured, the system will use the earliest date.

To Date

The date up to which reporting must take place.

 

The capture of a To Date is mandatory.

Email

The e-mail address of the person who must be notified that the report is available.

 

Click GENERATE REPORT.

 

A message will indicate once the job has been successfully submitted, and an e-mail will be sent to the designated person.

 

Processing

The system will extract information as per each section below and count the number of records:

 

Claims Received

The system will find the Service Requests with a Process of DISABILITY CLAIM ASSESSMENT for which the Timestamp is less than or equal to the To Date and greater than or equal to the From Date.  The system will count the number of records found.

 

If the period of the From Date to the To Date is greater than one month, the information will be extracted for each month in the reporting period.  The system will count the number of records per month.

 

Example:

If the From Date is 01/01/2013 and the To Date is 31/03/2013, the system will find the Service Requests with a Timestamp greater than or equal to 01/01/2013 and less than or equal to 31/01/2013, Timestamp greater than or equal to 01/02/2013 and less than or equal to 28/02/2013, and timestamp greater than or equal to 01/03/2013 and less than or equal to 31/03/2013.

 

Claims Admitted

The system will find the Disability Claim Assessment records for which the Timestamp is less than or equal to the To Date and greater than or equal to the To Date and for which the Claim Assessment Decision is LUMP SUM or PHI.  The system will count the number of records found.

If the period of the From Date to the To Date is greater than one month, the system will extract the information for each month in the reporting period and count the number of records per month (see example above).

 

Claims Declined

The system will find the Disability Claim Assessment records for which the Timestamp is less than or equal to the To Date and greater than or equal to the To Date and for which the Claim Assessment Decision is DECLINED.  The system will count the number of records found.

If the period of the From Date to the To Date is greater than one month, the system will extract the information for each month in the reporting period and count the number of records per month (see example above).

The report will be created with the following information:

-     Month

-     Number of Claims Received

-     Number of Claims Admitted

-     Number of Claims Declined

 

The report will be created with the following information in the header:

-     Report Name

-     Scheme Code and Name

-     From Date

-     To Date

 

View

Click View below Claims Assessed.  The Report Selection screen will be displayed.

 

 

The following columns are displayed:

-        Scheme Code

-        Timestamp

-        Date Captured

-        Report Type

-        Report Sequence No

-        Action

 

To select a report, click on the hyperlinked display in the Action column.

 

The Report Selection screen will display the number of disability claims assessed.
