CPY and EB Ledger Overview and Setup

The Corporate Payment System (CPY) extract is an interface between IN.pensions and the Metropolitan Corporate Payment System for cheque and EFT payments.

The EB Ledger (Smartstream) interface is an interface between the IN.pensions scheme ledger and the Metropolitan Employee Benefits ledger maintained on Smartstream for insured funds (audit exempt funds).

These interfaces are dependent on certain data being available and correct on IN.pensions.  The data required is listed below under the appropriate area.

A registration type of METROPOLITAN GENERAL LEDGER ENTITY is used to indicate the Ledger ENTITY (e.g. 024 – Metropolitan SA) and the ENTITY code must be captured as the registration number.

The scheme code for the investment only fund must be captured as the ACCOUNT NUMBER on the investment portfolio for those investments managed by Metropolitan Asset Managers for which entries are created in the EB Ledger interface, e.g.:
