BIB Bank Statement Upload

The uploading of files of bank account transactions in the SAP MT940 export format will be manually exported from the Business Internet Banking (BIB) application and uploaded into Vision.  The batch job used is JU2BB_BIB_BNK_STMNT_UPLOAD

 

A file will be created in the format shown in the table below.  The information in the system field column relates to the field on the Bank Statement record that must be updated with the value on the file when the file is uploaded.

-         If value for Transaction Type is neither NCHK or FTFR then do not update Payment Type

Account owner reference:

Cheques number for cheques, NONREF for other transaction types

-         If Transaction Type is NCHK then update Document Number.

-         If Transaction Type is FTFR then ignore

-         if there is no narrative then 999

-         if a cheques then 999/00 followed by up to 59 alphanumeric characters

-         otherwise 999/00 followed by the transaction type code, followed by any narrative up to 56 alphanumeric characters

If Transaction Type is FTFR then update Document Number with the first 7 characters of the value following the transaction type e.g. if the value is 999/00FTFR1234567 then update the Document Number with the value of 1234567.
