Additional Contributions (Client Membership Details)

To display the history of additional contributions in force for a member, highlight the required member on the JU3AO List of Members for a Scheme/Pay Centre screen, then select Membership Details>Additional Contributions.

 

 

The JU3CK Member Additional Contributions screen will be displayed.

 

 

To view additional contribution details, highlight an additional contribution line and click OPEN.  The JU3CK Member Additional Contributions Detail screen will be displayed.

 

 

Adding new additional contributions

To add an additional contribution details record, click NEW.  The JU3CK Member Additional Contributions Detail screen will be displayed.

 

 

Capture data as follows:

 

Contribution Type

Select a value from the Contribution Type drop-down list.  E.g. Employee Additional Contribution etc.

 

Completion of this field is mandatory.

 

Note:

These are the Contribution Types where:

 

Optionality = Voluntary

Regularity = Regular

Calculation Type = MEMBER DEFINED

 

Note:

If the drop-down list does not have values for selection i.e. only NONE is displayed, then nothing has been set up at a global level and additional contributions can therefore not be added for the member.

Amount

The amount of the additional contribution. 

 

If no amount is captured, then a percentage must be captured in the Percentage field.

 

Note:

If the amount captured is greater than the member’s monthly salary, then a warning message will be displayed, with the option to change the amount.

Percentage

The percentage of the member’s contributions attributable to additional contributions. 

 

If no percentage is captured, then an amount must be captured in the Amount field.

Start Date

The start date of the additional contribution.

 

Note:

The Start Date must be later than the Start Date of the last Additional Contribution record of the same Contribution Type (if one exists).

 

If the Start Date captured is later than the date of the earliest open salary/contribution cycle, an error message will be displayed, with the option to change the amount.

End Date

The end date of the additional contribution.

Date Of Last Extract

The date of the last Expected Member Income Report.

Authoriser

The User Id of the Authoriser of these details.

 

This will automatically be populated by the system when the additional contribution has been authorised.

 

Once the data has been captured, click OK.  The JU3CK Member Additional Contributions screen will be displayed with the data captured.

 

Authorising additional contributions

The additional contributions must now be authorised.  On the JU3CK Member Additional Contributions screen, highlight an additional contribution line and click AUTHORISE.

 

The JU3CK Member Additional Contributions screen will now display a timestamp in the Authorise Timestamp column.

 

 

End-dating additional contributions

To end-date an additional contribution, select the contribution line and click OPEN on the JU3CK Member Additional Contributions screen.  When the JU3CK Member Additional Contributions Detail screen is displayed, only the End Date field will be enabled for the user to change.

 

To end-date the additional contribution, capture the end date and click OK.

 

Note:

The end-date must be later than the start date.

 

The JU3CK Member Additional Contributions screen will now display the date in the End Date column. 

 

 

To return to the JU3AO List of Members for a Scheme/Pay Centre screen, select Close Member Additional Contributions from the sub-menu on the left.

 

 

Deleting additional contributions

To delete an additional contribution, select the contribution line and click DELETE on the JU3CK Member Additional Contributions screen. 

 

Note:

Only those additional contributions that have not yet been authorised may be deleted.

 

If the additional contribution has already been authorised, the following message will be displayed:

 

Cannot Delete an Authorised Payment Detail.

 

 

Click OK to remove the message.

 

If the additional contribution selected has not yet been authorised, the following message will be displayed:

 

Are you sure you want to Delete this record?

 

 

Click NO to cancel the deletion or click YES to confirm the deletion.

 

The selected record will be deleted.
