The following steps must be followed in order to add a Funeral Benefit:
- Add benefit product
- Add scale of benefits
- Add benefit events
- Add membership groups
- Link “purpose”
- Insert products
Homepage > Products >
Select List from the top menu.
Select a product from the JU1BK List screen.
Select UPDATE from the menu on the right.
Select Product Update Type: Benefit Rules and click PROCESS UPDATE.
The BACJ BSV Maintain screen is displayed.

Select Benefit Product from the sub-menu on the left.
The BAGA Benefit Product List screen will be displayed.
Click NEW to add a Product.
The BAGA Benefit Product Details screen is displayed.

Highlight the Funeral Benefit and select Scale of Benefits from the menu on the left.
Click NEW to add the Scale.
The BAGB Scale of Benefit Details screen will be displayed.
Always start from the youngest age.
Complete the following fields:
- Amount
- From Year
- To Year
Click OK to save.
Click NEW to add the next age band.

On the BACJ BSV Maintain screen, select Benefit Event from the menu on the left.
The BADP Benefit Event Select screen will be displayed.
Click SEARCH to display the BADP Search Criteria screen and add the Benefit Events applicable for your product.

Insert the Death of Member event.
The Benefit Events must be linked to the Benefit Membership Groups and the Products.
Highlight the Event and select Benefit Package from the menu on the left.
The BADQ Benefit Event List screen will be displayed.
Select the Death of Member event from the list and select List Package from the sub-menu on the left.
The BADR Package List screen will be displayed.
Click NEW on the BADR Package List screen.
The BADS Package / Scheme Membership Group Allocation screen will be displayed.
Insert the Membership Groups that are entitled to a Death Benefit.
Note:
Use a matrix to determine the PURPOSE and the calculations you need to setup.
